White Square Cake Drum Board, 5 Sizes

The sturdy base for square, rectangular, and number cakes

The Decora white square cake drum board is 12 mm thick, with a waterproof white finish on the top, bottom, and edge. Designed for heavy square cakes and number cakes, it will not bend under the weight of a cake covered in ganache or fondant. Five side lengths available, from 20 to 40 cm.

USAGE TIPS

Allow 4 to 5 cm of extra space around the cake to create a decorative border: a 20 cm square cake is best presented on a 25 cm drum.
For a tiered cake, each tier should rest on a drum at least 5 cm larger than the tier above, supported by dowels.
For a two-digit number cake placed side by side, a 36 or 40 cm size provides enough presentation space.
Clean with a soft spatula followed by a slightly damp cloth; never immerse in water.

For cakes with a moist base, such as mousses, fresh fruit, or creams, place a sheet of acetate or a parchment paper disc between the drum and the cake to protect the coating.
