Frequently asked questions
How many shells should I plan for a buffet or cocktail reception?
The box of 21 pieces is suitable for individual servings for around twenty guests; for larger quantities, simply order multiple boxes.
Is this format suitable for savory desserts?
The recipe is sweet and vanilla-flavored: it is designed for sweet fillings (creams, fruit, chocolate), not savory preparations.
How far in advance can these shells be filled?
For best results, fill them on the day of service: the base stays crisp longer than a shell filled the day before.
