Ingredients and allergens
Ingredients: Humectant: E422, vegetable oil (rapeseed), colors: E102, E110, E172, emulsifiers: E322, E433.
Please note: This coloring is oil-soluble and will not dissolve in water-based preparations (royal icing, syrup). Shake the bottle before use and add the color gradually: it is easier to darken a shade that is too light than to lighten a base that is already too intense. Store away from light and heat, with the bottle tightly closed.
Warning: E102 and E110 may have adverse effects on activity and attention in children.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between this coloring and a classic water-soluble coloring?
Mango is oil-soluble: it binds to fats (chocolate, cocoa butter, rich creams). Water-soluble coloring, on the other hand, dissolves in water and is suitable for preparations such as royal icing; the two are not interchangeable.
How do I clean the utensils after use?
Since the coloring is oil-based, simply wash bowls, whisks, and spatulas with hot water and dish soap after using Mango.
Should I shake the bottle before use?
Yes, slight separation may occur when left to stand: shake the bottle before each use to restore an even Mango shade.
